Laguiole Steak Knives and Forks Boxed Cutlery Set, Stainless Steel, 12-Piece
Set of six steak knives and six forks made with high grade stainless steel blades presented in an attractive wooden box. Made in France. These knives were first produced in 1829, in the small town of Laguiole in central France. They are known for their gently curving, razor sharp 12cm blades, elongated grips and the trademark bumble bee, a symbol of the region, that guarantees their authenticity.Tradition says that if you receive one of these knives as a present, you must reciprocate with a one franc (or should that be one euro?) coin, otherwise the knife may be used for cutting something other than steak! Please note we are not permitted to sell a knife or blade to any person under the age of 18. Criminal Justice Act 1988 (as amended)
